My Sweet Rose

Prologue

People say love is sweet but sometimes it's strange. Love comes unexpectedly, we never know who we will fall in love with whether it is a good friend, a stranger or even an enemy. Because love knows no one or status or age gap. But for this girl she doesn't know what love is like and what it feels like to fall in love with someone. And she also doesn't know how it feels to be hurt when love someone. She is Susan Rose Sudirman, a girl of Malay and British descent. Her father Sudirman is Malay from Malaysia and her mother Sarah Emily Wilson is British from United Kingdom. Rose's mother and father have been separated for a long time since the girl was young because there was no understanding in the marriage, but Rose never knew the reason why they divorced, she is still too young to understand. Since her parents' divorce Rose and her eldest brother live with their mother in the UK, while Rose's other sister and brother live with her father in Malaysia. Rose's family can be said to be in turmoil due to the separation of her parents. That's why Rose never knew what love was and never understood what it felt like to fall in love, especially with the opposite sex. But Rose doesn't care about that because for her the love from her family is enough, especially the love given by Sarah is enough for her. But apparently Sarah has the desire to see Rose get married and live happily, but she worries that Rose still doesn't have the right candidate to be her husband. Every day Sarah always prays that all her children will met with a good partner and can take care of them for life. That was Sarah's wish before she closed her eyes forever. 

Susan Rose, the almost 26-year-old girl was seen enjoying the view by the window in her room while sipping a glass of hot chocolate. Seeing the falling snow whiten the earth of England where she lived for so many years, Rose never knew when she would be able to live in Malaysia again and she never planned to stay in her father's country of birth even though every year she and her eldest brother always come to visit her father and siblings there.
