Ups And Downs Of Life Part 7

After a long time hanging out at the children's playground, Jane decided to go home because she was afraid that her grandparents would looking for her. She's walking alone but she's in a bit of a hurry because it's almost 5 pm now, while she was walking suddenly she met Cal who was walking too. Cal looks alone without Aaron. 

“ Hi ” Cal greets Jane. 

“ Cal? Where are you going? ” Jane asked Cal out of curiosity. 

“ I'm looking for my dad, where have you been? ” this time it was also Cal who asked Jane.

“ I'm walking around here, I'm was about to going home now ” Jane answered Cal's question.

“ Oh? But I want to warn you not to walk around here alone at night, very dangerous for a girl as beautiful as you ” Cal reminds Jane of the dangers of walking alone at night for a girl like Jane because he is afraid something bad will happen to her.

“ Thanks Cal, for warning me ” Jane thanks Cal because she feels Cal cares for her even by warning the girl. 

“ You're welcome, oh by the way, have you seen my dad? ” Cal asked Jane about his dad. 

“ Yes, I saw your dad on his way to my grandpa's house. I met your dad at the crossroads ” Jane answered Cal's question.

“ Oh then let's go to Mr Henderson's house ” Cal invites. 

“ I was indeed want to go home, Cal ” said Jane, smiling at Cal, while Cal only smiled sheepishly. 

“ I forgot Mr Henderson is your grandfather ” said Cal, giggling. The two of them finally walked back to Christopher Henderson's house while chatting. 

“ Cal, how long have you known Judy? ” Jane asked. 

“ When we were little, I can't remember how many years we've been friends if you ask Aaron maybe he remembers because Judy is his girlfriend ” Cal answered Jane's question. 

“ What kind of person do you think Judy is? Is she good? ” 

“ I think she is good, not naughty, everyone likes her. Why are you asking like that about Judy ” Cal asked Jane. 

“ Nothing , I'm just curious what Judy is like, I'm the type if I want to be friends with someone, I have to be careful and have to ask other people about her background so that I don't choose the wrong friend. I'm the type to be careful about making friends ” Jane explained to Cal why she was asking that about Judy. Cal nods his head at Jane's explanation. 

“ Yeah yeah, I understand, so do I ” Cal answered. Unknowingly, the two of them had arrived at Christopher Henderson's house. 

“ Cal, we've arrived, you don't want to see my grandparents? ” tanya Jane pada Cal.

“ Yes, I want to, but where is Uncle Stefan? I haven't seen him for a few days ” Cal asks Jane about Uncle Stefan's whereabouts.

“ Uncle Stefan is not here. Grandpa said he went to Paso Robles because he had urgent business there ” Jane answered. 

“ Oh the place James Dean died huh? ” Jane, who didn't know who James Dean was, gasped and wondered who the person Cal mentioned was and why the man died there. 

“ James Dean? Who is he? ” Jane asked. 

“ Oh James Dean! You don't know him? ” Cal asked, while Jane just shook her head. 

“ He was a great Hollywood actor but sadly he died young, died at the age of 24 in an accident at Cholame near Paso Robles ” Cal tells Jane a little about the late Hollywood actor James Dean. Jane just listened intently. 

“ How long has he been dead? ” Jane asked Cal. 

“ September 30, 1955, that's the date he died ” Cal answered. 

“ Oh it's been a long time huh ” Jane said. 

“ Yeah ” Cal answered a word, not long after that Adam Trask came out. 

“ Then we meet at the office tomorrow!! ” Adam Trask came out while talking to Christopher who was inside. 

“ Cal, what are you doing here? ” Adam Trask asked didn't expect Cal to be there, then he glanced at Jane. 

“ Hi Jane ” Adam Trask said hi to Jane. 

“ Hi Mr Trask ” Jane returned a hi from Adam Trask. 

 

“ I was looking for you, dad. What are you talking about with Mr Henderson? ” Cal asked Adam. 

“ Nothing, we're just talking about work, let's go home ” Adam Trask said. 

“ Jane, we go home first, okay? ” Adam Trask said goodbye to Jane. 

“ Alright Mr Trask, be careful on the road ” Jane answered. 

“ See you tomorrow, Jane ” said Cal as he followed Adam home, Jane didn't answer but she gave Cal a smile. After the shadows of Cal and his father were out of sight, Jane went straight into the house. 

“ I'm home! ” Jane said.
