“ So from now on, we're friends, if you have a problem or anything, don't be shy about asking us for help. " Judy said to Jane. Jane just nodded her head and said... 

" Okay " 

While Cal just glanced at Jane without saying anything, Jane also realized that Cal was looking at her and she also felt a little awkward facing Cal. But she also wondered why Cal was just keeping quiet and was a little afraid that Cal didn't like her presence. Suddenly Jane's cellphone rang as if there was an incoming WhatsApp message.  

" Sorry, I want to look at my cellphone for a moment. " Jane said, then she opened WhatsApp and read the message she just received. It turned out that the message was from Andrew who only asked how she was. 

" Message from my brother, I thought who " Jane said.  

" Jane, can I go to your grandfather's house this afternoon? " This time Judy asked again, looking into Jane's face.  

" Yeah you can. " Jane answered. 

After a few hours at school, finally all the students were able to return to their respective homes, they all rushed out of the school area. There you can see Jane walking out of the school gate, her grandfather waiting for her from the car. Meanwhile Judy was seen piggybacking Aaron, she was sent home by Aaron on a motorbike, while Cal also went home alone on the motorbike he was riding. 

" Hi Grandpa! " Jane greeted after getting into the car.  

" Hi sweetie, how was your school? Is everything smooth? " Christopher asked as he drove the car back to his house. 

" Don't worry everything is going well. " Jane replied with a cheerful smile, this is the first time Christopher has seen Jane this cheerful after two weeks of grieving over her parents' problems. And Christopher didn't want the joy on Jane's face to fade, he wanted to see Jane always cheerful no matter what troubles came in her life. 

" Grandpa, do you know Judy Lewis, Aaron Trask and his twin brother Cal Trask? " Jane asked, looking into Christopher's face.  

" Yes, I know, Aaron and Cal's father as well as Judy's grandfather were my best friends from long ago. " Christopher answered Jane's question. 

" How do Cal, Aaron and Judy behave? Are they good people? " Jane asked, very curious about the trio. 

" I think they are good, never cause trouble and don't be naughty either, I think it's good if you make friends with them. " Christopher answered Jane's question casually. 

" How about Cal? Was he really a quiet person from the start? "  

" Yes, he's always been like that, but his silence doesn't mean he's lazy to take care of other people's business. He really cares about his family and the conditions around him, I really admire him, a child as young as he is very steadfast in facing life. He is like you also abandoned by his mother since he was a child. " Christopher tells about Cal while remembering Cal's handsome face compared to Aaron, for the knowledge Cal and Aaron are unidentical twin. 

" I don't think he likes my presence. " Jane said. 

" Don't think like that about Cal, just be friends with him first. " Christopher said again.  Shortly after that they arrived at the house, but it looked like they had a visitor.  

" We have guests, Grandpa? " Jane asked. 

" It was Florence who came. " Christopher answered, Jane immediately scowled when she knew it was Florence who comes because she knew her father's cousin hated her and her mother for a long time even though Jane didn't know why Florence hated them both so much.

" Come on in, your grandma must be waiting inside. " Christopher said as he got out of the car. Like it or not, Jane was forced to get out of the car with no enthusiasm, she followed Christopher's footsteps into the house, And there was Florence with a frown on her face and disgust at the sight of Jane. 

" You're home sweetie? How is your school? Do you like school there? " Luciana asked Jane. 

" Yes, I like going to school there. " Jane replied, she didn't look at Florence's face in the slightest, neither did Florence. 

" Grandma, I'm going to my room first, I'm tired. " Jane said. 

" OK, come down and eat later, I have made chicken rice and potato wedges. " Luciana said to Jane, Jane just nodded and went up the stairs to her room. 

" Auntie, when will that damned kid leave this house? Do you want to keep her here forever? " Florence asked, dissatisfied and resentful of Jane. 

" Watch out when you talk about Jane! The damned kid is my granddaughter! If Christopher hears you insult his granddaughter like that he will kill you!! " Luciana said while threatening Florence not to speak ill of Jane, Florence fell silent at those threatening words. 

Not long after that Jane came back down holding the cellphone in hand, Luciana who saw became curious. 

"You said you were tired, why did you go down again? What's going on? " Luciana asked.  

" Judy just messaged me she said she wanted to come here and told me to wait outside. " Jane answered. 

" You mean Judy the daughter of William Lewis? " Luciana asked again, wanting reassurance. Jane, who didn't know who William Lewis was, just furrowed her brows.  

" Who is William Lewis, Grandma? " Jane asked again. 

" Nobody! " Luciana answered, not knowing what to reply to Jane's question, Jane left without saying much. 

Shortly after Jane waited for Judy in the shade in the yard, Judy arrived this time alone without Aaron and Cal. 

" Hi Jane " Judy says hi.  

" Hi Judy, did you come alone? Where are Aaron and Cal? " Jane asked while looking for the whereabouts of the non-identical twins. 

" It's useless for you to look for them, they don't come. Aaron says they have a family business at home.  " Judy replied, she seemed to know that Jane was looking for Cal right now. Yes actually Jane was really looking for Cal because since the first time she met that guy earlier, Cal's image couldn't seem to get out of Jane's mind.

" Jane, shall we go for a walk? " 

" Where to? " Jane asked, curious. 

" I'll tell you later, but I'm sure you've never been to this place. " Judy said, looking at Jane's face. 

" Okay, I want to tell grandma first " Jane replied. 

" Fine, hurry up and tell your grandma! "  Jane went into the house back and told Luciana that she and Judy wanted to get out for a bit, Grandma just allowed.
